Dorothy Mae Adams August 3, 1925 - July 8, 2013

Dorothy Mae Moro Adams age 87 of LaBelle passed away on Monday July 8, 2013 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas. Dorothy was born in Port Arthur on August 3, 1925 to John L. and Emma D. Denmark Moro.. She was a life long resident of this area and was employed as a clerk at J.C. Penney, Weingarten's and Sears. Dorothy attended Central Baptist Church until her health prevented her from doing so. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary where she was honored for her contributions to the advancement of its programs and activities to God and Country. Visitation will be on Thursday July 11, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home .Funeral service will be on Friday, July 12, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. in the Thompson Memorial Chapel of Clayton Thompson with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, husband Melvin E. Adams, Sr. and daughter, Bonnie Kay Pulliam. She is survived by her son, Melvin E. Adams, Jr. of LaBelle, 5 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

I am so sorry I was unable to attend the funeral. I have known Miss Dorothy most of my life and she was always a kind and gentle soul. She will be missed by all who knew her. Please find comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering and is an angel in the heavens looking over all of us. Thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
