Dorothy Jane Smith
October 30, 1923 - July 20, 2013
Dorothy Smith, 89 of Nederland passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Cypress Glen East in Port Arthur. She was born in Arcadia, LA on October 30, 1923 to Leonard Grady and Adeline Johnson. Dorothy was a life long resident of this area. She retired from Arco Polymer where she worked as a clerk. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Leonard Ray Taylor. She is survived by her sons, Michael Dale Smith and wife Pam of Florida, Robert "Bobby" Smith and wife Liz of Kingwood, Jeff Smith and wife Tracey of Nederland; daughter-in-law, Patricia Taylor of Groves; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 from 12:00 P.M. until 1:30 P.M. at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home. Graveside service will be on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Greenlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Jeremy Bradshaw officiating.
