Thomas A. "Tommy" Richard, age 59 of Port Arthur passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at a local nursing home. Tommy was born on September 9, 1953 in Port Arthur to J.D. and Ivy Broussard Richard. He was a life long resident of this area and was a former manager in the grocery business. Tommy was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Nell Richard and his father, J.D. Richard and son, Landon Richard. He is survived by his son, Chad Richard and wife JeaRonda of Pineville, LA., daughter, Tonya and her husband Brandon Marks of Buna, brother, Gary and his wife Cindy Richard of Port Acres, sisters, Sandy Savoie and Kathy Richard both of Port Arthur and 7 grandchildren. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 22, 2013 from 12:00 noon until 4:00 p.m. at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 4:00 P.M. Cremation is entrusted to Clayton Thompson Funeral Home.

Tommy will be TRULY Missed. Growing up with him and his Family and ALL thru School he was ALWAYS soo Sweet and Considerate. He always had us laughing.I THANK GOD He's out of pain now and is finally at PEACE. THANK YOU Tommy for being a part of My Life and My Family's. THANKS for the GREAT Memories My Friend.
