Gary Lynn Lusignan of Port Arthur, Texas passed away at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas on Thursday, August 29, 2013, his 62nd birthday. He was born on August 29, 1951 to Jean Gertrude Deslatte Lusignan and Seville Phillip "Lucky" Lusignan in Port Arthur, Texas. Gary was a lifelong resident of the area. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1970. Gary was known for detail. He saw to every detail when remodeling or building a custom home a trade he learned from his Dad. You always knew every time you picked up your car from Auto Massage his detail shop that it would be detailed to perfection. He also saw to every detail when giving a helping hand when someone was in need. A Celebration of Life gathering for friends and family will be at Larry's French Market in Groves from 5 PM to 7 PM Thursday, September 12, 2013. Arrangements for cremation are entrusted to Clayton Thompson Funeral Directors in Groves. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a charity of choice. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Butch Lusignan. Gary is survived by his daughter, Lacey Lusignan of Groves, Texas, his son, Logan Lusignan of Groves, Texas, his sister, Charlotte Stirling and husband Tommy of Crystal Beach, Texas, his niece, Robyn Lusignan Newburn and husband Michael of Houston, Texas.
