Jane Weldon age 84 of Vidor passed away at her residence on Wednesday, October 9, 2013. She was born in Port Arthur to Addie Hebert and Dennis Duplantis on August 6, 1929. Jane was the owner of Jane Weldon's Little World Day Care for many years and was of the Catholic faith. Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie (J.D.) Weldon and her parents and daughter, Jan Weldon Colletti. She is survived by her daughter Julie Weldon of Vidor, brothers Vernon Duplantis of Port Neches and Carl Duplantis of Nederland, sister, Floyd Elaine Briggs of Vidor and three grandchildren, Sarah Hill, Keely Farquhar and Dane Colletti and seven great grandchildren. Visitation was held on Friday, October 11, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home with a Rosary prayed at 7:00 P.M. Her funeral service will be on Saturday, October 12, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. in the Thompson Memorial Chapel of Clayton Thompson with private family internment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
