Patricia Knight, 76 of Port Arthur died Wednesday, October 23, 2013. Patricia was born in Port Arthur, Texas to Wade and Marie Billeaud. Pat, as friends and family called her, was a homemaker and business partner to her husband John. She was a wonderful cook and loved to bake with her great granddaughters. Pat and John were high school sweethearts and soul mates. They were married for 54 loving years. Pat is survived by one son, John David Knight and wife Tracy of Lumberton, one daughter Margie Abshire and husband Dwain of Baytown. Grandchildren: Chase Ratcliff and wife Ashleigh and Brandon Ratcliff, both of Nederland and two great granddaughters Braeleigh and Olivia Ratcliff. She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister Cleo Willett, and one brother Lester Billeaud. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Funeral Services will be at 4:00 PM Sunday, October 27, 2013 in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
