Messages of Love

From family and friends

Juanita & Julia Reyes November 9, 2013
We send our belated condolences to the Woo family. As young girls we were sent to 'Girls Club' which Mr. & Mrs. Woo headed and they took the time to teach us the Bible and to teach us how to do arts and crafts. Some of us were a lil stubborn but they had the patience to deal with young girls. We remember the time they took us to their home and made ice cream and that was the best time. We lost our dear sister Isabel going on 4 years but their memories live within us. I hope this lil story will let you know how much Mrs. Woo meant to us. Thanks so much for SHARING Mr. & Mrs. Woo with us, they were very SPECIAL people. Love, Juanita & Julia Reyes

Mrs. Anne Woo was such a dear soul and lived her life by true Christian example. She had the sweetest spirit that one could possess. Her words of wisdom stood as an exemplar model of a life in Christ that we all should shadow. In 1963, Central Baptist was blessed with their arrival in Port Arthur and they were a true Godsend for our congregation. She is in the presence our Our Lord now. May God Bless this truly wonderful family.
