Jeffrey Peltier, 51, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away in Port Arthur on Wednesday, November 13, 2013. He was born on February 19, 1962 to Joan Brown and Gerald Peltier in Port Arthur, Texas. He has been a resident of Port Arthur and Sabine Pass for all of his life. Jeffrey worked for Newpark Environmental Services as a forman/operator for 23 years. He was a member of St. Therese, the Little Flower of Jesus Catholic Church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved to spend time outdoors camping with his family and friends. Visitation will be on Friday, November 15, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary prayed at 6:30 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM Saturday, November 16, 2013 at St. Therese, the Little Flower of Jesus Catholic Church with Rev. Msgr. Jeremiah McGrath as celebrant. Burial will follow in Memory Garden Cemetery in Nederland, Texas. He is preceded in death by his mother, Joan Brown. Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Belinda Peltier of Port Arthur; son, Logan Peltier of Port Arthur; daughters, Kayla Peltier and Marissa Peltier, both of Port Arthur; his father, Gerald Peltier and wife Rosie of Sabine Pass; brothers, Tommy Peltier and wife Terri of Sabine Pass, John Peltier and wife Charlene of Mauriceville; sisters, Priscilla Richardson of Evadale, Barbara Crain and husband Darrell of Evadale with many nephews, nieces, family and friends.
