Kelly W. Eldridge, age 57 of Port Arthur passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2013. He was born in Port Arthur on November 1, 1956 to Floy Reeves and James W. Eldridge. Kelly was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson, class of 1975 and Lamar University in 1980. Kelly was Director of Public Utility Operations for the City of Port Arthur for 30 years. He was a member of Central Baptist Church of Port Arthur. Kelly was preceded in death by his father, James W. Eldridge and is survived by his son, Kyler Eldridge of Groves, mother, Floy Eldridge of Port Arthur, sister, Jane and husband Charlie Barron of Port Arthur. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 17. 2013 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home with Funeral Service to be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. in the Thompson Memorial Chapel of Clayton Thompson with Rev. Phil Sigman officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
