George Marion Holbrook, Jr. August 25, 1925 - January 27, 2014

George Holbrook, 88, of Vinton, Louisiana passed away at West Cameron Calcasieu Hospital on Monday, January 27, 2014. He was born on August 25, 1925 to George and Ora Brandon Holbrook, Sr. in Gainesville, Texas. George proudly served in the United States Navy during W.W. II. George was a draftsman for Texaco. He is survived by his loving wife, Norma Holbrook of Vinton, Louisiana; and son, John Robert Holbrook of Vinton, Louisiana. Visitation will be Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home from 12-2 PM. Funeral service will be Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home with interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
