Maxine Hardcastle November 17, 1923 - March 2, 2014

Maxine Hardcastle, 90 of Groves passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2014 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur. Maxine was born in Port Arthur on November 17, 1923 to Harvey and Lena Neal Durham. She was a life long resident of this area. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Albert Hardcastle; a daughter, Judy Hardcastle; and four brothers. Maxine is survived by her daughter, Susan Hardcastle Beaty and husband Narlin of Phoenix, MD and three grandchildren, Jeffrey Armand, Dale Armand and Sarah Armand. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. in the Thompson Memorial Chapel of Clayton Thompson with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
