Kenneth L. Guy, Sr. February 9, 1942 - March 16, 2014

Kenneth L. Guy, Sr., 72, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas. He was born on February 9, 1942 to Anna Mae Davis Guy and Billy L. Guy in Port Arthur, Texas. He served in the U. S. Marine Corp and the Marine Reserves. Kenneth retired from Chevron after 36 years in the Transport Department. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and choir leader. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 20, 2014 in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson. Entombment will follow in Oak Bluff Memorial Park. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Druella Comeaux Guy of Port Arthur, Texas, his sons, Kenny Guy and wife, Darlene of Mauriceville, Texas, Kevin Guy and wife, Cynthia of Port Arthur, Texas, his daughters, Marilyn Stansbury and husband, Bryce of Port Neches, Texas, Tammie Fogarty and husband, Bill of Port Arthur, Texas, twelve grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
