Sally Mae Simon August 28, 1936 - May 10, 2014

PORT ARTHUR Sally Mae Simon, 77, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away May 10, 2014. She was born on August 28, 1936 to Clarence James Simon and Nancy Marie Landry Simon in Maurice, Louisiana. During her early teens, she moved to Port Arthur, Texas with her parents where she went to school, raised a family, and lived most of her life. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, and was a devoted animal lover. She is survived by one son Andre Rosales III, and wife Carolyn Woo Rosales of Beaumont, Texas; one daughter Melodee Marie Milligan Hinkley, and husband Michael Sam Hinkley of Pflugerville, Texas; and one granddaughter Tiffany Leigh George Miner, and husband David Robert Miner of Dallas, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Clayton-Thompson Funeral Home in Groves, TX, and a graveside service will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Memory Gardens, Nederland, TX.
