Curtis Harold Cummings, 62, of Granbury, Texas passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at his home. He was born on September 20, 1951 to Dorothy Berdahal Cummings and Kenneth Clark Cummings in Miles City, Montana. He was a resident of Nederland for 17 years before moving to Granbury. Curtis was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He worked as an operator at a Gas Plant. Graveside Service will be at 10:30 AM Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves. Arrangements are under the direction of Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Kim Cummings. Curtis is survived by his loving wife, June N. Cummings of Granbury, Texas; two daughters, Deronda Lane of Port Arthur, Texas, Amber Nelson of Washington State; two sons, Kenneth "KC" Cummings of Alaska, Ashton Cummings of Japan; 10 grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Sandy Smith of Nevada; his brothers, Tom and Ben Cummings both of Washington State and several nieces and nephews.
