Betty May, 83 of Port Arthur passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at her residence. Betty was born in Port Arthur, TX on July 25, 1930 to Maurice and Mary Lou Gregory. Betty was a loving and devoted homemaker and lived in Port Arthur all of her life. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John May and two grandchildren, Marisa Nugent and Colby May. Betty is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Nugent of Burleson, TX; sons, Curtis May (Lynn Drawhorn) of Groves, TX, Russell May (Luann) of Florida, Keith May (Marianne) of Port Neches, TX, Kent May (Laura) of Beaumont, TX and Kevin May (Rendy) of Groves, TX; sister, Janell Farris of Groves, TX; 20 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Friday, May 23, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home. Graveside service will be on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
