Justo G. Adame February 10, 1915 - August 7, 2014

Justo G. Adame, 99, of Bridge City and formerly of Port Arthur passed away Thursday, August 7, 2014 at his home. He was born in Alice, Texas on February 10, 1915 to Catarina Gonzalez Adame and Justo Adame. He has been a resident of Port Arthur since 1940 and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Justo retired from Texaco as a welder after 37 years of service. Visitation will be on Sunday, August 10, 2014 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Monday, August 11, 2014 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Petra Adame, his son, Johnny Adame his granddaughter, Terri Marie Gongora and his sister, Maria Cantu. He is survived by his son, Manuel Adame and wife Mary of Richmond, Texas, his daughters, Maria "Bebe" Gongora and husband Tony of Bridge City, Texas, Dolores Varela and husband Herman of Groves, Texas, Virginia Adame-Davis and husband James of Spring, Texas, 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
