Ethel Louise Bennick May 31, 1925 - August 23, 2014

Louise Bennick, 89, of LaBelle passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at her home. She was born on May 31, 1925 to Louise Bonvillain Kizer and Ethan Minor Kizer in Port Arthur, Texas. She has been a resident of LaBelle since 1992. Louise worked at Gulf Oil and Woolco before settling down to raise her family as a homemaker. She attended St. Mary Catholic Church in Fannett. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Audrey and Midge and her husband, Paul Robert Bennick, Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Hyde of LaBelle, her three sons, Paul Bennick, Jr. and wife, Rhonda of Jacksonville, Florida, Peter Dale Bennick of LaBelle and Maynord Dean Bennick and wife, Belinda of Shreveport, Louisiana, three grandchildren, Jamie Landry of LaBelle, Kimberley Bennick of Shreveport, Louisiana and Wesley Gayle Bennick of Georgia along with one great granddaughter, Amanda Wharton of LaBelle as well as several nieces and nephews. Graveside Services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves with Rev. Blair Rowell, officiating. Arrangements for cremation are entrusted to Clayton Thompson Funeral Directors in Groves.
