Joy W. Williams
March 31, 1937 - September 3, 2014
Joy W. Williams of Walden on Lake Conroe passed away on September 3, 2014 at the Conroe Regional Medical Center. Joy was born in Port Arthur on March 31, 1937 to Maxie M. Jackson and William A. Williams. She had resided in Port Arthur until December, 2008 and then moved to Walden on Lake Conroe. Joy was a Real Estate Agent and former Business owner. She was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School and Lamar University. Joy was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Dana Leigh Haig. She is survived by her husband, Danny Williams of Walden on Lake Conroe, son, John Williams of Church Point, Louisiana, brother, Dan A. and his wife Sandy Williams of Conroe and brother- in- law Laurence and his wife Kim Williams of Beaumont. Visitation will be on Monday, September 8, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home, 5200 West Parkway, Groves, Texas. Cremation is entrusted to Clayton Thompson Funeral Directors. Joy requested any memorials in her memory be made to the charity of your choice.
