Gloria Pearl Miley Eldridge. age 79 of Port Arthur, Texas passed away on Friday October 3, 2014 in College Station. Gloria was born November 6th, 1935 to Caley T. Miley & Ruth Elizabeth Shipley in Port Arthur, Texas. She lived in Sabine Pass, Texas with former husband Robert Lee Eldridge of Sabine Pass, and in Port Arthur for many years, where she worked as a member of the Carpenters Local 610 until 1988. Visitation will be on Sunday October 12, 2013 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Bob Miley and daughter Nancy Eldridge Parton. She is survived by her longtime partner & caregiver Eileen Hoyle of College Station, her sister Kayla Ann Booth of Brandon Mississippi, her son, Jerry Eldridge and his wife Darvis of Sabine Pass, Texas, her daughter, Terri Eldridge Thompson and husband Tim of Nederland, Texas, four grandchildren, Marshall Parrish, Heathe Stagg, Krystle Soderholm and Connor Thompson, Garyn Hoyle, Ali Hoyle, four great grandchildren, Madison Parrish Mikayla Parrish, Marshall Parrish Jr. and Remi Soderholm.
