Frankie Waller, 81 of Port Arthur/Groves passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 in Beaumont. She was born in Port Arthur, TX on August 1, 1933 to Alfreda Patin Joffrion and Francis Joffrion. Frankie is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Karla Ackerman; a brother, Richard Joffrion and four sisters, Dorothy Collins, Elizabeth Brunow, Evelyn "Singie" Swan and Margaret Abel. She is survived by her sons, Gregory McDonald of Tulsa, OK, Bill Waller of Livingston, TX, Kurt Waller of Port Arthur, TX; 6 grandchildren, Jason Kessler, Kurt Smith, Erika Litchfield, Ashley Nicholson, Michael Varnado, Alexa Ackerman; 7 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation will be on Monday, October 13, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. David Edwards serving as celebrant and burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Humane Society.
