Elsie Beckcom, 92 of Port Arthur, Texas passed away on October 11, 2014 at Cypress Glen Nursing Home in Port Arthur. Elsie was born on May 26, 1922 in San Antonio to Sarah Coon Saylor and Curtis Saylor. She was a teacher and a lived in Port Arthur for most of her life. Elsie is preceded in death by her parents; a husband, a son, Curtis M. Beckcom, a brother, Curtis Saylor and a sister, Jan Folsom. She is survived by her son, Rodger Beckcom of Port Neches, Texas and 2 grandchildren, Curtis Beckcom of Houston and Paul Beckcom of Port Neches.

Aunt Punk, I will miss you so much. I can remember the good times we had in 1972-74 when we would get up in the middle of the night thinking we heard something and all it was, was us scaring each other. I loved you like I loved my mom and dad, I always thought alot of you. I will really miss you. I know that you are in heaven with mom and dad,memaw and pepaw,Curt,and Uncle Buster.
