Dorothy Smith Domaschk September 9, 1928 - November 8, 2014

Dorothy L. Domaschk, age 86 of Sam Rayburn passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2014. Dorothy was born on September 9, 1928 in Houston, Texas to James and Forest Talley Smith. She was a life long resident of Port Arthur and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Dorothy had worked for Gulf Oil in the Purchasing Department for 12 years. Dorothy graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School as Valedictorian. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Clarence. She is survived by her son, Gary Domaschke of Houston, daughter Tana and her husband Lonnie Atkinson of Sam Rayburn, three granddaughters, Ashley and Kristin Baker, and Brittney and husband Jimmy Dunlap, two great grandsons, Kason and Kaden Mayer, two step grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M .at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home with Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 P.M. with burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
