Geraldine Ann Vincent March 26, 1926 - November 30, 2014

Geraldine Ann Vincent, 88, of Needville, Texas passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Methodist SugarLand Hospital in SugarLand, Texas. She was born on March 26, 1926 to Marie Rose Judice Vaughn and Joseph Eddie Vaughn in Loreauville, Louisiana. Geraldine lived most of her life in Port Arthur before moving to Needville 10 years ago. She graduated from St. Mary High School in Port Arthur. She was very active with the VFW Auxiliary in Port Arthur and attended St. Mary Catholic Church before becoming a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Port Arthur. Geraldine was attending St. Michael's Catholic Church in Needville, Texas. She was a loving and devoted mother to her four daughters, grandmother and great-grandmother as well as a great-great grandmother. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a rosary to be prayed at 6:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Port Arthur with Rev. Stephen McCrate, serving as celebrant. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Calvin Paul Vincent, her sister, Olive Marie Prince. She is survived by her daughters, Arvileen Patrick of Jasper, Texas, Lorena Lea and husband, Fred of Needville, Texas, Glenda McGeorge and husband, Eugene of Lynnfield, MA., Dina Vincent of Missouri City, Texas, her grandchildren, Rickey Patrick, Debbie Ogle, Silas Patrick, Jeffery Lea, Ted Lea, David Lea, Derrick Lea, Samantha Paradiso, Nicolette McGeorge, Kristin McGeorge, Shelby McGeorge and Dana McGeorge, 6 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, several nieces and nephews.
