Adelia Halter Timms Adelia Halter Timms, 96, of Groves, Texas passed away on Monday, December 15, 2014 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas. She was born on August 17, 1918 to Eunice Duncan Halter and Ben Halter in Vincennes, Indiana. Adelia has been a resident of the area since 1955 and a member of Sabine Pass United Methodist Church. Visitation will be on Friday, December 19, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, December 20, 2014 in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson with Rev. Brent Graham, officiating. Entombment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. She was preceded in death by her parents and most of her siblings. Adelia is survived by her sons, Daniel Timms and wife, Polly of Fannett, David Timms of California, three grandchildren, Steven Timms and wife, Brandee of League City, Texas, Shelly Wilkins and husband, Adam of Little Elm, Texas, Theresa Boyer and husband, Mark of Spokane, Washington, six great grandchildren, William and Daniel Timms, Nolan Wilkins, Geneivine, Isabella and Patrick Boyer. She is also survived by her sister, Marie Artelli of Matawan, New Jersey along with numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.
