James Edward Coster November 16, 1946 - February 13, 2015

James Coster, 68, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2015 at his residence in Beaumont. James was born in Perry, Iowa on November 16, 1946 to Daniel Sullivan and Mildred Vicarius. He lived in California, Oklahoma, and most recently Beaumont, TX for the past 12 years. James was a truck driver by trade and enjoyed riding motorcycles. James is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Rosemary Sullivan. He is survived by his son, James and wife Sandra Coster of California; step-sons, Jeff and wife Jullie Maronen of Katy, TX, Mike Maronen of Beaumont, TX; daughter, Jeannie Coster of Miami, FL; step-daughter, Laurie and husband Bart Umphrey of Beaumont, TX; brothers, Ron and wife Mary Jo Coster of Shakopee, MN, Danny and wife Cynthia Coster of Greenwood, MI; sister, Patti Boyer of San Antonio, TX; Half brothers Michael Coster and Mickey and wife Christy Coster; 13 grandchildren, Briana Coster, Lindsay Childers, Randy Childers, Brooke Umphrey, Macy Umphrey, Luke Umphrey, Kalyn Maronen, Kendell Maronen, Jaden Maronen, Jada Maronen, Chris Maronen, Joey Maronen, Josh Maronen and 4 great grandchildren. He was also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at Cathedral Church in Beaumont with Rev. Randy Feldschau officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
