anyone that knew uncle Barry would say his passion was golf and cooking. He knew the way to anyone's heart was through the stomach and boy did he know how to cook. Every time we visited with him he always had something new to try and it was always delicious. I'll always remember my first son cameron got the aunt and uncle mixed up so to him he was aunt Barry and uncle Lou. It hurts that I wasn't able to be there as Barry was always there for everyone. My love of food and golf had a lot to do with him and my father Chris Jackson. I will always remember him and never forget. He is with us now in spirit and at peace.

Uncle Barry was an amazing, kind and generous man. He touched so many lives. He was there for us when my father Lenis Herpin Passed away and many other occasions. My fondest memory of Uncle Barry was his amazing cooking. Every time he came to visit he made all kinds of Cajon Food. Some I can't pronounce. I am so grateful we were able to meet up in Port Author on our way to moving to Hawaii and Uncle Barry/Aunt Lou, and Aunt Carolyn/Uncle Bubba got to meet Dylan at 2 months old. He is now almost 4 in June. Time Flys way too fast. Since then we have moved to VA. Like Uncle Chris, we are the family who moved away so far. I miss seeing my family so bad, but they are always a phone call away. Oh, got to see Uncle Chris a couple weeks ago in Florida. Just brighened up my soul. Mom has amazing brothers and sisters, As do I. We are all so blessed. Even though so far away, our memories of those we love live on in our hearts for ever. Now Uncle Barry is at peace and in no more pain and is right there by our side. Lots of prayers going out to All the family. I know this is a huge loss. Wish I could be there, but I am in spirit. May God Bless Each And Every One Of You. Special prayers go out to Aunt Pam. I am so sorry for your losses. I can not even imagine what you must be going through. But I do know God can heal and comfort any one. I Miss everyone and PLEASE know my heart is there with you and I am praying like crazy for healing and peace for all of the family.

I attended the funeral for a friend's mother today, and came away reminded that death is never a welcome event, regardless of age or ending circumstances. To overcome grief, we must all find comfort in knowing that our loved one's soul is experiencing true bliss. On a scientific level, there is also comfort as our Earth has a finite amount of energy - something we borrow during our time here. Once a person passes, his soul ascends to Heaven, and his energy is reborn in another living organism. That, to me, is another source of comfort. Our loved ones energy will always surround us, in one form or another. Janelle (and family), I know this is a rambling message, but comes from a heartfelt wish to send you support and friendship in your time of need.
