Gerald Peckenpaugh, 71, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at his residence in Groves. Gerald was born in Pryor, OK on September 12, 1943 to John Peckenpaugh and Dollie Crowder. He lived in Port Arthur for 44 years and most recently Groves, TX. Gerald was a retired Lock Master for Sabine Neches Navigation for 29 years. He is survived by his wife, Louise Peckenpaugh of Groves, TX; daughter, Brenda Guidry and husband Bubba of Port Arthur, TX, Kellie Rodrigues and husband Mark of Port Arthur, TX; brothers, Tom Peckenpaugh of Oklahoma, Bill Peckenpaugh of , Oklahoma; sister, Donna Boswell and husband Jimmy of Oklahoma, Florena Grubbs and husband John of Oklahoma, Jo Ann Sowers of Oklahoma; 7 grandchildren, Wendy Alvarez and husband Nacho, April Gonzales and husband David, Tosha Rodrigues, Amber Suire and husband Cody, Cory Goodwin and wife Renee, Kacee Goodwin, Desiree Guidry and 14 great grandchildren. He was also survived by a beloved nephew, Jay Bosswell. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home. Cremation arrangements under the direction of Clayton Thompson Funeral Home.
