Joe J. Soto, 46, of Groves, Texas passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas. He was born on September 27, 1968 in Port Arthur, Texas. Joe was a lifelong resident of the area and attended Port Neches-Groves High School. He worked as a carpenter at several companies, including his step-father, Felix Ramirez. He is survived by his mother, Magdalena Ramirez and husband, Felix of Groves, Texas, his son, Cameron Austin Soto of Lumberton, Texas, two sisters, Juanita Marie Mendoza of Nederland, Texas, Raquel Lopez of Henderson, Texas, two brothers, Marcos Ricardo Soto of Port Arthur, Texas and Ruben Soto of Groves, Texas, Numerous nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. Visitation will be on Monday, March 23, 2015 from Noon till 3:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. A Celebration of Life services will follow at 3:00 PM in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson. Arrangements for cremation are entrusted to Clayton Thompson Funeral Directors.
