Helen Alberta Peveto July 30, 1929 - April 12, 2015

Helen A. Peveto, age 85 of Port Neches passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at April's House of Angels in Port Neches. She was born in Port Arthur on July 30, 1929 to Howard and Ruth Williams Kern. Helen was a life long resident of the Port Arthur area and retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone after 38 years of service; she was a member of Jehovah Witness in Port Arthur. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband Rupert Peveto, and daughter Cindy Peveto. She is survived by her sons, Jeffery and wife Shelia Peveto of Nederland, Steve and wife Betty of Toledo Bend, brothers, Larry and wife Laura Kern of Groves, Hardy and Christine Kern of Sarver PA., sister, Theresa Conner of Port Neches, 8 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. with her Funeral Service to be held in the Thompson Memorial Chapel of Clayton Thompson on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery . A special Thank You to April Adaway and her family at April's House of Angels and to the staff of Genetiva Hospice. She will be dearly missed.
