Helen passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas hospital in Port Arthur. She was born November 11, 1936 to Leon Cole and Addie Mae Blanton Lewis in Port Arthur, TX.

She lived in Nederland for the last 20 years. Helen was a beloved mother and grandmother and loved by many.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Vicky Morgan, and a brother, Leon Cole Lewis, Jr. She is survived by her son, Clifford W. Taylor of Nederland, TX; a brother, Robert Lewis of LaBelle, TX; a sister, Ruth Marie Smithheart of Florida; 3 grandchildren, Kimberly Evans, Jeremy Morgan, Ceaven Morgan and one great-granddaughter, Remi Evans.

Visitation will be on Friday, November 20, 2015 from 11:00 to 1:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves, TX. Funeral service will be on Friday, November 20, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Clayton Thompson. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

It is found at Revelation 21:4: "He will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."
