Geraldine Marie Allen September 6, 1921 - December 20, 2015

Geraldine Marie Roberts Allen, our beloved mother went to her heavenly home on Sunday, December 20, 2015 at the age of 94.

Mother was a wonderful homemaker and care giver to many family members. She and her husband were raised in Port Acres and had been sweethearts since age of 14. In 1951 they moved to Groves; where they raised their family. Mother loved her home, family and neighbors of many years. She was a life long member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

She was preceded death by husband Weldon G. Allen in 1995; parents, Isabelle and Clay Roberts; sister, Bernice Deslatte, brothers, Vernon Roberts, J.C. Roberts; son in law, Darrell Tolbert

She is survived by her four children, Lynda Bihm and husband, Don, Terry Allen and wife, Jerry, Sherry Pantely and husband, Guy, Karen Tolbert; eight grandchildren, Brent Bihm and wife Melissa, Blake Bihm and wife, Kate, Belynda Champagne and husband, Shane, Missy Desormeaux and husband, Darrell, Tina Robertson and husband, Jay, Louis Wukasch and wife, Tristi, Kristy Gordon and husband, Lee and Ryan Tolbert. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren, brother in law, Jr. McCullough, sister in law, Ruby Lyday, sister, Euline Messina and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 2 pm Clayton Thompson Funeral Home Chapel, with gathering of family and friends from 12 noon until service time. Entombment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Magnolia Manor and staff and Gentiva Hospice for the love and care given to our mother.

I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. Aunt Geraldine is singing her heart out praising the Lord. A very special loved one who will be truly missed by all.
