Jackie Free April 18, 1924 - April 11, 2016

Jackie Free, 92, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away on Monday, April 11, 2016 at Lake Arthur Place in Port Arthur.

She was born on April 18, 1924 to Arbelle Blankenship Epps and Clyde Epps in Clarksville, Texas. Jackie has been a resident of Port Arthur for 70 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her three sisters and her husband, Eugene Free.

Jackie is survived by her daughter, Judy K. Stone and husband, Bob of Cedar Park, Texas, her son, Mike Free and girlfriend, Carmen Savant of Port Arthur, Texas, her three grandchildren, Jason Stone, Kayla Free and Kelly Free, her two great grandchildren, Bryson and Gavin Stone, numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation for family and friends will begin on Thursday, April 14, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Graveside services to honor Jackie’s life will be on Friday, April 15, 2016 at 2:00 PM in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves with Rev. Klint Pruitt, Chaplain of Port Arthur Fire Department, officiating.
