Travis Lee Hagler August 24, 1945 - April 18, 2016

Travis L. Hagler, 70, of Baytown, Texas passed away on Monday, April 18, 2016 at Baytown Nursing and Rehab Center.

He was born on August 24, 1945 to Maxine G. L. Travis Hagler and Garrett L. Hagler in Port Arthur, Texas. Travis was raised in Port Arthur before moving away to start his career in Education. He attended Lamar and University of Texas.

Travis was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his daughter, Anne Howard and husband, Russell and their daughter, Ashley Howard all of Dayton, Texas, his son, Barrett Hagler and his daughter, Grace Hagler both of Houston, Texas and his daughter, Skylar Hagler of Frederick, Co. currently serving with the U. S. Army deployed to Kuwait, his ex-wife and mother of Anne and Barrett, Lynda Fleming Hagler of Dayton, Texas along with additional extended family members.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday, April 23, 2016 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Service to honor Travis’s life will be at 1:00 PM Saturday in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson with Dr. Rick Erwin, pastor of Procter Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
