David Ray Lawler February 20, 1969 - May 13, 2016

David Ray Lawler, 47, of Groves, Texas passed away on Friday, May 13, 2016 at his home.

He was born on February 20, 1969 to Jane Evelyn Brame Augustus and Gerald Lawler in Port Arthur, Texas. He was a lifelong resident of Port Arthur/Groves area.

David was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Lawler.

He is survived by his loving wife, Roseanna Lawler of Groves, his three sons, Jared DeRouen of Beaumont, Colby and Logan Lawler both of Groves, his mother, Jane Evelyn Augustus of Mauriceville and his sister, Tammy Swindell of Mauriceville, several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

In honoring his wishes to be cremated, arrangements for cremation are entrusted to Clayton Thompson Funeral Directors in Groves.  A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
