A Life Remembered

Obituary

James "Boo Boo" Dean Quibodeaux February 8, 1957 - June 2, 2016

James Dean Quibodeaux, more well known as, Boo Boo Quibodeaux, passed away on June 2nd 2016 in Sabine Pass, TX where he’s called home for over 50 years.   He was born on February 8th 1957 in Port Arthur to the late Walter Quibodeaux Sr. and the late Martha Quibodeaux.  Boo Boo grew up in Sabine Pass where he met, married, and lived his life while raising 4 children with his late wife, Pamela Quibodeaux.  Everybody in Sabine Pass knew Boo Boo and it’s an understatement to say that he was one of a kind.  Boo Boo was the kind of man willing to work from sun up to sun down every day of the week rather than see his family go without.  There are truly no words to describe him with justice.  He was without a doubt the hardest working and selfless man most people will ever know.  He will be missed very dearly.

Boo Boo is survived by his two sons, Joshua Quibodeaux and James (J.D.)Quibodeaux; his two daughters, Tiffany Nowak and her husband, Matt; Stefanie McRight and her husband, David; his 3 brothers Steve Quibodeaux and his wife, Carolyn; Walter Quibedeaux Jr. and his wife, Pat; Lance Quibodeaux; and his sister Annie Lemaire; as well as his 6 grandchildren, Summer, Dylan, Landen, Blake, Bailey, & Cole, many cousins, nieces and nephews

A gathering of family and friends for Boo Boo will be held at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home - 5200 39th St. Groves, TX 77619 - at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 5th 2016 with a memorial service immediately following at 3:00 p.m.

So many memories of him visiting me at Sea Rim talking about hunting hogs and fishing. .Sorry we can't be there today as we are out of town. He will truly be missed.
