Louise Hebert January 13, 1921 - July 14, 2016

Louise Bourque Hebert, 95, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Gulf Health Care Center.

She was born in Judice, Louisiana on January 13, 1921 to parents Marie (Whittington) and Ovey Bourque. She has been a resident of Port Arthur for 70 years and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 68 years, Fred Hebert Sr.; son, Gerald Lee Hebert; daughter, Barbara Ann Vickers, and siblings.

Louise is survived by her son, Fred Hebert Jr. and wife, Judy of Groves; her daughters, Linda Marie Umphrey and husband, Dane of LaBelle, Patricia Gillespie and husband, Hugh of Groesbeck. She is also survived by her thirteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 17, 2016 from 5 pm until 8 pm at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home, with a rosary to be prayed at 6 pm at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 18, 2016 at 10 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
