Alice Courville Tantillo December 20, 1921 - August 2, 2016
Alice Courville Tantillo, 94, of Port Arthur passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at her daughter Debbie Roberts’s residence.
Alice was born on December 20, 1921 in Grand Chateau, Louisiana to parents Alice (Breaux) and John Stelly. She had lived in the Port Arthur area since 1960, prior in Louisiana. She was a member of St. Theresa the Little Flower Catholic Church in Port Acres for many years. Alice was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend who will be missed dearly.
Alice is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Alphen Courville; her second husband, Tony Tantillo; her daughter, Lillian Roberts; two son in laws, Don and Jesse Roberts, two brothers and four sisters.
Alice is survived by her sons, John Allen Courville and wife, Gloria of Baton Rouge, LA, Kenneth Courville of Bronson, TX, Bryan Courville Sr. and wife, Annette of Groves, TX, Kevin Courville Sr. and wife, Jennifer of Port Acres, TX, Roland Courville Sr. and wife, Wanda of Jennings, LA; her daughter, Debbie Roberts of Port Arthur, TX; step-son, Vincent Tantillo and wife, Tater of Costa Rica. Also those left to cherish her memory will be her 24 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2016 from 5 pm until 8 pm at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home, with a rosary to be prayed at 6 pm at the funeral home. A Christian Burial service will be held at 11 am on Friday, August 5, 2016 at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home; Rev. Rejimon George, C.M.I. will be the celebrant. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens in Nederland.
