Janice Kay Duhon January 11, 1956 - September 10, 2016

Janice Kay Duhon, 60, of Groves passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at M. D. Anderson Hospital in Houston surrounded by her loving family.

Janice was born in Nederland, Texas on January 11, 1956 to parents Annie Lou (Faulk) and Dennis Louis Duhon. She had lived most of her life in the Groves area and was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. Janice worked as an insurance adjuster with State Farm Insurance Company for 42 years. Janice enjoyed working in her garden, going fishing, camping and doing crafts. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Janice was loving person who will be missed dearly by all.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Annie Lou Duhon; her brother, Deny Duhon.

Janice is survived by her life companion, A. J. Faulk of Port Arthur; her father, Dennis Duhon of Groves; her daughters, Nicole Redell and husband, Bill of Montgomery, Cassie Hollier and husband, Cody of Bridge City; her sisters, Vickie Ward of Groves, Joni Benton and husband, Paul of Nederland. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Brooke, Jackson, Charlee, Chandler, Cate, Waylon, Dinah and one on the way; her godchildren, Michael, Layce, Dylan.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 from 5 pm until 8 pm at the Clayton Thompson Funeral Home, with a eulogy at 6:30 pm and rosary to be prayed at 7 pm. A Christian Burial Service will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at 10 am at the funeral home, celebrant will be Rev. Shane Baxter. A burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park.
