My deepest sympathy, thoughts and prayers are with the Lewis family. Pete was one of the kindest persons that I have ever known, always with his wonderful smile. May the grace and love of God ease your pain during your time of sorrow.

Aunt Jeri, I was so sad to hear that Uncle Pete had passed. I will always cherish my memories of him. I loved getting to visit y'all during the summer and I especially loved the little pancakes he would always make for breakfast for everyone. He will be sorely missed. I love you, Brooklyn

To all in Texas, My heart was deeply saddened to hear of my Great Uncle Pete's passing. I am consoled by the fact that he is no longer in any pain and he is with his Lord & Savior. I am grateful that I was able to visit with everyone over this past summer and, as usual, very humbled by Uncle Pete's wonderful outlook on life and how he always looked at the optimistic side of life. Never dwelling on anything, just always moving forward. I will miss you Uncle Pete and will always keep you in my heart, knowing what a Great man I was fortunate enough to not only have the pleasure of knowing, but also for the pure fact that I called you Uncle.
