Joyce Marie Broussard July 16, 1933 - December 3, 2016

Joyce M. Broussard, 83, of Port Acres, Texas passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at her residence.

Joyce was born on July 16, 1933 to Agest and Eva Bourque Latiolais in Saint Martinville, Louisiana. She had lived in the Port Arthur area for 69 years and was a lifelong member of St. Theresa, Little Flower of Jesus Catholic Church. She was very active with her church, serving on the Altar Society. Joyce was a loving person who will be missed dearly by all.

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Landale Broussard, father-in-law; Maine Broussard, Sr.; mother-in-law, Ledia Tomplait Broussard; sisters, Sable Latiolais, Dorothy Morphew; brother, AJ Latiolais; brothers-in-law, Joseph Dore, Brad Morphew, Main Broussard, Jr.; sisters-in-law, Jean Broussard, Helen Free, Doris Broussard.

She is survived by sons, Kirk Broussard and wife Colleen of Port Arthur, Kyle Broussard and wife Una of Plano, daughters, Vicki Johnson and husband James of Port Arthur, Jeanine Lyons and husband Alex of Fannett, Jill Manders of Port Arthur.

Joyce is also survived by 10 grand children, Audra Johnson, Amber Harms, Cassie Johnson, Bryan Broussard, Ramie Dalton, Barry Broussard, Jacie McMath, Ashlyn Broussard, Amy Manders and Zack Lyons, 10 great grandchildren, Alec Torres, Hannah Torres, Audrey Johnson, Olivia Harms, Ty Bryson, Addilynn Pierce, Cass Bryson, Camryn Harms, Carter Dalton and Josie McMath, sisters, Myrtle Guillory and Husband George of Port Neches, Diana Dore of Groves, brother, Huey Latiolais and wife Donna of Bridge City, brother-in-law, Ronnie Free, sisters-in-law, Darline Major of Port Arthur, Eva Corbett and husband Gary of Arizona.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Sunday, December 4, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary to be prayed at 6:00 pm at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Monday, December 5, 2016 at St. Therese, the Little Flower of Jesus Catholic Church in Port Acres. The Rev Rejimon George will be serving as celebrant. Burial will follow in Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, Texas.
