I am sad to learn of Johnny's passing. There's never a childhood memory without him in it. Johnny lived with my family while I was a teacher. My mom and him were great friends and worked at "Flower Trader" together. He gave me my first car... well, he said I could borrow it and then I messed up the side of it... so he said - it's yours now!
Our family still makes his crazy pasta sauce - adding black olives into it! I wish I could've connected with him after all these years... to tell him how much my family loved him. He really impacted us all.
My mom, Evelyn, Died in 2005. We looked for Johnny on line but never found him.
I will always remember you and hope you how much you were thought of and loved. Even all the way up here in CT!!
