Patsy Romero March 9, 1930 - March 16, 2017
Patsy Mae Romero, 87, of Port Acres passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas.
Patsy was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana to mother, Anne (Martin) Webb and father, Henry Witherwax Sr. Patsy and her family moved to Texas when she was 7 years old and settling in Port Acres where she has lived most of her life. She enjoyed working in her garden and spending time with her family and friends. Patsy was a loving person who will be dearly missed by all.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Norbert Leon Romero; her sister, Ruth Williamson.
Those left to cherish Patsy’s memory are her children, Becky Kiamar, Norbert Romero and wife, Sally, Susan Hardin and husband, Dan, Jeff Romero and wife, Terri; brother, Henry Witherwax Jr.. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Monday at 2 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home, with a gathering of family and friends from 12 noon until service time. Rev. Mike Halliburton will be officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
