Brian Steven Henson January 7, 1975 - June 14, 2017

Brian Steven Henson, 42, of Nederland passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.

Brain was born on January 7, 1975 in Newport News, Virginia to father, Edgar Melvin Henson and mother, Susan (Clemmer) Henson. He had lived in the Nederland area since he was 5; he attended Sycamore Private School, C.O. Wilson and Nederland High School. He was a member of Life Church in Nederland. Brian enjoyed woodburning art, listening to music and riding motorcycles. Brian was a loving person who loved spending time with his son, Braylen.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edgar M. Henson.

Brian is survived by his mother, Susan Henson of Nederland; son, Braylen Henson of Nederland, grandparents, Norma and Hector Alejandro of Nederland.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 19, 2017 at 5 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home, with a gathering of family and friends from 4 pm until service time at the funeral home. Cremation arrangements were in trusted to Clayton Thompson Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations may be made to the charity of your choice or a monetary donation to Brian’s ten year old son, Braylen for future college funds.
