Francis Travis was a very wonderful person. Has a young married couple we moved next door to her and her husband Oscar in 1978 shortly before our first son was born. A house fire in 1986 parted us from being neighbors. Both Francis and Oscar were great neighbors.

My sympathy to the family of Francis Travis. I have known her since I was a very small child since I grew up in Central Baptist Church and Francis and Oscar were personal friends of my parents. I remember many times that my parents and the Travis' visited in each other's home. Francis was always beautiful and gracious and I know she is thrilled to hug her daughter and husband now. May she rest in peace, knowing she definitely made a difference in this world. You can be proud of her legacy and know she is with her God. Janis Darville Conkle
