Nelda Raye Stoker Cimino, 84, of Orange, Texas passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at the Golden Years Assisted Living Center in Orange.

She was born on November 11, 1932 to her parents, Leopold Bernice Stoker and Joyce Verda Carver Stoker in Simpson, Louisiana. Nelda has been a resident of Groves for over 50 years. She retired from Western Auto in Port Arthur as an office administrator and sales associate with 46 years of service. Nelda was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Groves.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her loving husband, Louis Cimino of Orange, Texas, her daughter, Wendy Fontenot and husband, David of Orange, Texas, her two grandsons, Kyle and Kevin Fontenot both of Orange, Texas, her sister, Linda Bennette and husband, Kenneth of Groves, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Saturday, July 8, 2016 from 9:00 AM till 11:00 AM at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Groves. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Saturday at St. Peter Catholic Church with Rev. J. C. Cooon, serving as celebrant. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves.
