Margaret Louise Warren, 87, of Port Arthur passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at her residence.

Louise was born on September 28, 1929 in Port Arthur, Texas to parents Lindsey (Price) and Jessie Milton Wilson. She was a lifelong resident of Port Arthur and a member of First United Methodist Church, where she was a very active member. She and her husband, Bill Warren, were owners and operators of G & W Marine for 50 years. Louise was a member of Port Arthur Garden Club; she help started the gift shop in St. Mary’s Hospital and she volunteered as a Pink Lady at the hospital. Louise was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend; who loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Lindsey Wilson; her husband, Bill C. Warren; her brother, Milton Wilson and her granddaughter, Patricia Miller.

Those left to cherish Louise memory are her two daughters, Pat Miller and husband, Jim of Port Arthur, Pam Warren of Port Arthur. She is also survived by her grandsons, Craig Miller and wife, Nicole, Blake Miller and wife , Amber; great grandchildren, Caden, Kamryn, Nicholas, Jase, Cole and her four-legged granddaughter, Bella.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at 2 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home, with a gathering of family and friends from 12:30 PM until service time at the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. Tony Miller. Entombment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
