Catherine Marie Levet March 31, 1933 - September 11, 2017

Catherine Marie Burkhard Nuttall Levet, 84, of Groves, Texas passed away on September 11, 2017 at Senior Rehab Nursing Center in Port Arthur, Texas.

She was born on March 31, 1933 to her parents, Wilbert F. Burkhard and Mary A. Pettit Burkhard in McKees Rocks, PA. Catherine has been a resident of the area since 1956. She received her LVN degree from Lamar. Catherine worked at St. Mary Hospital, Park Place Hospital and later with private home health care. She was affiliated with Assembly of God.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Thomas Levet, her daughter, Mary Claire Price.

Catherine is survived by her son, Wilbert Nuttall and wife, Janice of Port Arthur, her son-in-law and caregiver, Lloyd Price, Sr. of Groves, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren along with her sister, Dorothy Talbert of Alto, Texas as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 10:00 AM till 11:00 AM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Service to honor Catherine’s life will be at 11:00 AM Thursday in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Clayton Thompson. Entombment will be in Greenlawn.

In lieu of flowers, family is asking donations be made to one of Catherine’s favorite charity, Feed the Children.
