Emilia Dolores Ybarra April 1, 1962 - November 7, 2017

Emilia Dolores Ybarra, 55, of Groves passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at UTMB Jennie Sealy Hospital in Galveston.

Emilia was born on April 1, 1962 in Port Arthur, Texas to parents Alice (Vara) and Johnnie Martinez Hernandez. She was a lifelong resident of Port Arthur and Groves area and she was of the Catholic Faith. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School. She enjoyed going crabbing and going on road trips with her friends; going to the beach, Pleasure Island and casinos. Emilia was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend who will be missed dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Johnnie Ybarra.

Emilia is survived by her children, Jessica Boslooper and her husband, James of Goodyear, AZ, Fernando Polanco of Thornton, CO; her grandchildren, Sean and Christian. She is also survived by her sister, Elizabeth Gunter of Midland, TX.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017 from 5 pm until 8 pm at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home, with a funeral service to be held at 7 pm at the funeral home. Celebrant will be Rev. J. C. Coon. Cremation will follow the services under the direction of Clayton Thompson Funeral Home.
