In 1942, she married her beloved husband, Clarence William Moritz, in Baltimore. They moved to Port Arthur in 1948 where they raised their three children. In 1989, they moved to Beaumont to live with their daughter Susan. They remained active at Trinity Lutheran Church in Port Arthur and stayed close to friends there.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clarence, and her brother Edward Colley, Jr. She is survived by daughter Carol Brown and husband Tom of Springdale, Arkansas; daughter Susan Moritz of Beaumont; son Bill Moritz and wife Marcie of Houston; granddaughter Robyn Porter and husband Scott of Lowell, Arkansas; grandson Richard Brown and wife Destiny of Springdale, Arkansas; great-grandchildren Tristen and Scott Thomas Porter; Jonas and Emerson Brown; and many other dear family and friends.
She leaves each one of us with a trail of beautiful memories that will remain in our hearts. She was the best friend any of us could ask for. She comforted us when we were in pain, always embracing us with her strength and love. She asked for so little but gave us so very much of herself. We will cherish the many beautiful moments that each one of us spent with her.
