William Miles (Wild Bill) Gibson, 70, of Port Arthur, Texas, formerly of West Orange, Texas, passed away September 21, 2024, at South East Texas Medical Center surrounded by his loved ones.
Born August 11, 1954, in Temple, Texas he worked several jobs through the years including Cowboy Concrete, Tex-Trac, Pizza Hut, What A Burger and the Motiva Expansion thru Champion Concrete as a Batch Operator.
He lived in West Orange, Texas before moving to Port Arthur, Tx. He was an Army Veteran from 1972 – 1974. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Port Acres, Tx.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, who will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Greer and Odell Gibson, and son James Gibson, Sr.
Bill is survived by his loving wife Tamie Gibson of Port Arthur, Tx. His daughter, Bree-Ann Andrus and husband Jami of Orangefield, Tx, his son Keith Gibson and girlfriend Kelsi Marple of Mauruceville, Tx, his son Michael Gibson and girlfriend Cara McMullen of Lumberton, Tx.
He is also survived by his grandchildren; Zevah Gibson, Magnolia and EmmeMarie Andrus of Orangefield, Madix, and Maverek of Mauruceville. Makenzly Gibson, Ayden and Axton Vickers of Owensboro, Ky. Destiney and James, Jr. Gibson, Jazmine Gibson, Zeppelin and Zander Gibson.
He is also survived by his siblings; Clemmie Bratcher and husband Bruce of Rockdale, Tx, Japhoni Gibson of Rockdale, Judy Mayfield of Lumberton, Orie Ray Gibson of Cameron, Tx, Daniel Gibson of Woodville, Tx and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial to be held at a later date.
